The Broughton Gathering brings together neighbouring Guilds (and visitors) for a day of socialising, fibre, and cake!

Chrissie Anne Competition
The Chrissie Anne Quaich is awarded each year for a piece of work which involves an element of hand-spinning. The winner is chosen by popular vote, and will be announced at the Gathering.
Rules
- Items must have been spun and completed since the last Gathering.
- Items should be labelled with the fibre, pattern (if relevant), and date of creation.
- Items to be wrapped and submitted at the Gathering.
- Please don’t include identifying information anywhere on the item, show it to anyone else prior to submission, or tell anyone what you’ve made.
Vendors 2025
Ewingston Shetland Wool will have a delectable selection of undyed wool and fleece from their flock.
Sealy MacWheely will have weaving and spinning equipment to try (and buy!).
Birkhill House offer natural dyeing and needle felting supplies, and you can find out about their amazing venue and classes.
